Miss.Domoreyou Pageant: 06.26.2010

On June 26th, 2010 Laketa Poindexter, the owner of domoreyou.com sophistically wore a cherry red Tailor & Amour Urban-T dress during the Miss. Domoreyou Pageant. The event was held on 500 West Belmont St. in Pensacola, Florida featuring some of the cities most influential socialites. Presented by Domoreyou.com and the Diversity Entertainment Board, the pageant was taped before a live audience. As Poindexter announced that she was wearing a Tailor & Amour dress she then introduced Carlyn James as the designer. Carlyn entered the stage and then announced the awards as well as the Queen of the 2010 Miss. Domoreyou Pageant. MANNA PR/Ad Campaign: 06.14.2010

On the 14th day of June 2010 Tailor & Amour, Cartilini, and Friends joined Tim Evans who is the director of Manna Food Pantries in a PR/Ad Campaign. The team had a wonderful time volunteering as models and serving as a voice for the organization. Recordings were conducted by Brent Lane from Cat Country Radio on FM 98.7. Founded in 1982, Manna is a private nonprofit corporation which is dedicated to alleviate hunger in the community and is greatly supported by its volunteers. Beauty by the Bay: 06.13.2010

On the 13th day of June 2010 the Beauty by the Bay Fashion Show & Dinner was held at the Sanders Beach-Corrine Jones Community Center in Pensacola, Florida. The event was given as an Autism Fundraiser in honor of the King Richard Foundation. Donations can still be made as all proceeds will benefit children with autism and "Kids for Camp". During the show Mrs. Gloria Clay, founder of Women Telling Their Business & Vice President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Delta Iota Omega) South Atlantic Graduate Chapter was styled in Tailor & Amour. Clay wore a draped water blue top and black polyester pants. Carlyn James was introduced as the designer of the attire and a guest at the event, by Mamie L. Hixon who was the first African American English Professor at the University of West Florida and is also the AKA sorority historian for the graduate chapter of Pensacola. Other segments of the show featured some of Pensacola's own; Celebrities of Style, First Ladies of Style, Ladies of Fashion, and Women of Distinction.
